Legal dispute over the right of WF and others to be represented by Chancery Legal Ltd. after a ruling on 2nd May 2019 by Assistant Justice Kiernan Bell restraining Chancery Legal from acting on behalf of WF and the patients. Subsequent appeals and stay applications regarding this ruling.

KEVIN WAKEFIELD SAMPSON JR -v- LIONEL EARLE JAMES ANDERSON THE ESTATE OF NINA MAE JOELL THE ESTATE OF CLIFFORD WAKEFIELD SAMPSON

Dorothy Louise Sampson owned 'Chula Vista' left life interest to Iva Anderson remainder to Lionel Earle James Anderson and Kevin Wakefield Sampson Jr. Post-Iva's death property was supposed to pass to Earle and Kevin. No vesting deed for Earle and Kevin. Earle in exclusive possession since 1988. Kevin unaware of Will's terms until 2012. Dispute over rightful inheritance.

The Wife sought various forms of financial relief including maintenance for two children a variation of settlement for a trust (T Trust) and a property adjustment order for the former matrimonial home (FMH) which was transferred to a trust aiming to set aside this transfer under Section 41 Application. The Husband countered aiming to protect the FMH for the children by placing it into a trust arguing it wasn't a matrimonial asset for division. The court found the transfer was intended to defeat the Wife's ancillary relief claims and granted the application under Section 41 ordering the transfer set aside and costs on an indemnity basis to be borne by the Husband

Tatung Company v. Chunghwa Picture Tubes Limited

Tatung initiated proceedings against CPT over a financial agreement and guarantees seeking to enforce security interests in CPT Bermuda shares after CPT's default on loans. Interveners claiming against CPT due to a CRT cartel claim sought to intervene based on rights from a Writ they obtained. The court examined joinder principles the nature of shares as personal property and the authority of writs of fieri facias in Bermuda

Taariq Clarke was sentenced to 7.5 years for aggravated burglary and using a firearm reduced to 6 years on appeal for assistance to police and testimony leading to a co-defendant's conviction

Offences occurred between August and September 2019 involving sexual activities and luring of a 13-year-old by a 19-year-old. Discovery through victim's cell phone led to arrest and guilty plea by Rogers.
