FACTS OF THE CASE:
The case revolves around the second defendant's application for a review of the Registrar?s taxation of his costs of the action which were awarded following a judgment striking out the plaintiff?s claim. The plaintiff did not appear at the hearing or file notice of objections. The application for review was out of time but time was enlarged accordingly. The main issues include the reasonableness of the reductions made by the Registrar and the proper allowance of costs including whether the costs were reasonably incurred and the amounts reasonable.
