The case details the enforcement of a divorce settlement including financial obligations unmet by the husband despite a consent order. The wife sought to enforce payment and set aside a property transfer to the husband's sister to satisfy financial obligations. The court considered whether the voluntary conveyance was intended to defeat the wife's financial claims and examined the husband's ability to fulfill his obligations under the order.

Par-La-Ville Hotel and Residences Ltd. (in liquidation) sought summary judgment against the defendants, Shane Mora and Matthew Hollis (trustees of the Skyline Trust), to exercise rights under a pre-liquidation contract and recover assets. The 1st Defendant did not appear, and the 2nd Defendant did not oppose the application on its merits. The 2nd Defendant's counsel attempted to raise a conflict-of-interest argument, but the Court dismissed this as procedurally improper.

Christine DaCosta v Mount Saint Agnes Academy
The plaintiff alleged grooming and sexual exploitation by a teacher during 1998 to 1999. The defendant applied to strike out the claim as statute-barred under the Limitation Act 1984 arguing it was frivolous and an abuse of process. The court refused the plaintiff's application for specific discovery and later the admission of additional evidence by a third party related to allegations of the teacher's conduct from a different period. The court concluded that the evidence was not relevant to the Strike-Out Application.
