Bermuda Environmental Sustainability Taskforce v. The Minister of Home Affairs
The Bermuda Environmental Sustainability Taskforce (BEST) challenged the Minister of Home Affairs? decision to uphold the Development Applications Board (DAB) approval of four planning applications related to the Tucker?s Point development project. BEST argued that the Minister?s decision was unlawful as it failed to require an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and violated natural justice by allowing private meetings with developers. The Minister defended his decision, arguing that environmental concerns had been considered.

David Jahwell Cox & Jahki Dillas v The Queen
Appeals challenge minimum sentence provisions for having a knife in public as unconstitutional. Cox convicted for possession of a machete and sentenced to three years.
