Sino Charm presented a winding up petition against Titan Petrochemicals based on unpaid debt. The court found the company's dispute of the debt not bona fide. Opposition to the petition was led by Mr. Zhang who funded and controlled the litigation for the company which was insolvent at the time of petition. Mr. Zhang used litigation as a cover to remain in control and benefit personally by raising funds to repay his advances to the company.

The parties were married in Jamaica lived in Ontario Canada and moved to Bermuda for work. The marriage broke down leading to legal disputes over child custody and jurisdiction. The mother sought to relocate to Jamaica with the child while the father opposed advocating for Ontario Canada as the proper jurisdiction.

The Queen v Jahmico Trott
2019
The prosecution sought to join two separate indictments against Jahmico Trott: the 2017 Indictment (Attempted Murder and Firearm Offenses) and the 2019 Indictment (Corruption of a Witness and Intimidation of a Witness). Trott was previously convicted in 2018 for attempted murder and firearms charges but successfully appealed on the basis that his defense counsel failed to call an alibi witness. The matter was remitted for a retrial. The prosecution argued that both indictments should be tried together since the intimidation charges stemmed from Trott?s attempt to influence a key witness in his 2017 case. The defense opposed joinder, arguing it would prejudice the accused.
